Thanks, Adisa, we really appreciate all the effort you put in to get us this far and we are glad to have your support as we transition our residency from Canada to Australia over the next few years. It makes a daunting process less scary.
Adisa has been a veritable bulldog in tracking down tax numbers and clearing up debts that have accumulated since we moved our residency from Australia to the USA then Canada over forty years ago. Needed information was buried as agencies changed and Adisa went from one to another until the information was discovered. The endless hours of being stuck on the phone and being shunted from one office to another. Our problems were different, so to obtain the appropriate information required some lateral thinking to ensure that the tax status for both of us could be brought up to date. We are so glad to have found TJD and have Adisa as our guide as we gradually transition from Canadian to Australian residency.

We have worked with Adisa for more than nine years. Over this time she supported us with preparation of our annual income tax filings and more recently gave us advice on Land Tax and Capital Gains Tax.
Adisa has always been prompt and proactive in her professional interactions with us. She is knowledgeable in all relevant matters and has efficiently handled our annual income tax filings.
In 2023, when our property became subject to Land Tax, Adisa advised us after we started receiving sudden notifications from our property management agent on our new tax liability. Her advice was clear and when there were things she could not answer, she referred us to the right party in the State Revenue Office who could help us.
Adisa also assisted us with computing the impact of Capital Gains Tax if we sold our property. She also explained how the Australian Capital Gains Tax and withholding tax system worked – things which we, as non-residents, are not familiar with.
When we sold the property in Q2, 2025, Adisa liaised efficiently with our lawyer and sales agent and completed all the required tax filings.
Adisa has been thoroughly professional and efficient as our tax advisor. In her conversations with us, she was clear in her advice and our conversations always ended with us having a clear sense of the options and possible outcomes facing us.
